The reason for removing many of these characters is that the Superheroes Unlimited mod 1.12.2 was clubbed with other mods like the Kaiju, and the Star Wars mod. Now the new mod is called the Legends mod which has characters from all three mods.  Though you can still play the original mod if you install the older version like 1.12.2.

Other Features of Superheroes Unlimited Mod 1.12.2

In this superhero Unlimited mod 1.12.2, you also get many new blocks, new missions, added boss fights, many new weapons, vehicles, and other stuff. Superheroes Unlimited Mod 1.12.2 also had some interesting NPCs like the Legendary Comic book writer Stan Lee, Alfred Pennyworth, and Lucius Fox. You can also fight new mobs based on Symbiotes, ants, Wakanda citizens, and soldiers, other general criminals under Kingpin.  

The upcoming update will add a new mob which is the Zod’s followers. Superheroes Unlimited Mod 1.12.2 also has a new dimension to explore which is Wakanda, Mars, and Phantom Zone. Though Phantom Zone is removed in the new updates and Mars has been moved to Legends mod. You can fight bosses like Kingpin and Shocker, though there were more bosses like Scarecrow, Doomsday, Joker, Reverse-Flash et cetera.  

You can craft various recipes like Adamantium ingot, Vibranium, Asgardian Steel, Arc reactor, and Flash ring et cetera. To craft these items you need ores and blocks like Adamantium block, Kryptonite, Metahuman power unit, Stark Workbench, Batcomputer, and some other blocks.

Important Note

The Superheroes Unlimited mod 1.12.2 does not exist and was released till the 1.7.0 version of the game only. So you need to remember that there is no 1.12.2 version for this mod, but you can still play using superheroes with the “Legends Mod”, which is a collection of Superheroes Unlimited Mod, Kaiju, and Star Wars Mods.

Steps to Install the Minecraft Superheroes Unlimited Mod 1.12.2

1. Before we begin the installation we need two things. First is the mod itself and the other important thing is the Forge API. Without forge, you cannot run the game. So download those, you can use curseforge.com to download the mod. 
2. Make sure that you download the right version of the mod and forge for the game.
3. You have to copy/move the .jar file of the mod to the mods folder of .minecraft.
4. To go to the mod folder of .minecraft you can type “%appdata%” in the Windows search bar or the Run box. 
5. In case you do not see a mod folder, you can create one.
6. After you have moved the files to the folder,  you have to open the game in forge profile from the launcher.

How to Craft Heroes in Minecraft Superhero Mod?

While there are many heroes in the Superhero mod you need to craft those heroes to be able to use them in the game. There is a crafting table that you can use to craft various heroes using other items like 4 black iron blocks, one monitor, and a hero reactor. With the help of these four things, you can craft a hero costume that turns you into that superhero. 

Though not every hero has the same recipe, this is the basic requirement for many heroes. Although there are some changes in the blocks. Let’s take an example to better understand this procedure. Suppose you want to craft a Superman suit then to do that you need 11 Blue Cloths, 9 Red Diamond blocks, 2 Red Cloth, 2 Yellow Cloth, and 1 Nether Star. When you put all these things in the Hero Maker which is the crafting table, you get a brand new Superman Suit.

There are some alternate suits for Superman, like the Kingdom Come suit, Man Of Steel suit, Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice suit, and a few more depending on the mod version. 

Similarly, you can craft a Wolverine suit too. The recipe is for the 4.0 – 4.3.12 version of the game. The recipe will change for the newer version of the game. This is the mod that you should install as there is no separate superhero mod for versions after 1.7.0. While the Legends mod doesn’t have all the superheroes that were once in the superhero mod, but still has plenty of them from the Marvel and DC universe.
